"The Great Escape" - A true story of abduction, escape, and epiphany.

"Pyramid" - The start of an alternate-history saga.

"Harry Comes Home" - He's back from the war, but it's not quite what his wife had in mind.

"First Contact" - Perhaps there's a reason aliens have never made contact....

"Rain" - Caught out in the rain, a young man has the chance to see things differently.

"Jump!" - It all seemed so clear as I plummeted toward the ground far below....

*

"What We Get From the Space Program" - an editorial for fans.

Quantum Leap: Project Star Bright, a fan novel co-authored with Shrewreader.

Quantum Leap: The Unrightable Wrong, a fan novel in progress.

Scripts

"Changing Sides", an unproduced episode for Star Trek: Deep Space Nine.

All's Well That Ends, an all-inclusive, massively cross-pollinated stage play for fans.

Short Stories

"The Fire in Which We Burn" - My best story to date.  (Star Trek: TNG, Quantum Leap.)

"First Impressions" - A Star Trek: TOS crossover with... well, you'll see.  A personal fave.

"There Can Be Only... None?" - A silly crossover story.

"The Return of the Borg" - An ST:TNG story.  Possibly the silliest thing I've ever written.

Filk Songs

"Filked From Argo" - Everybody's got one.  Published in Xenofilkia.

"Little Fannish Filkers" - What Frank Hayes does to other people's songs, I do to one of his.

"The Walls Are Out There" - An X-Files filk based on "The Walls Have Ears."

"When I Was a Fair Maid: Two Filks" - A traditional folk song gets two new sets of lyrics.

"Fly Like a Beagle" - Fan-fic and filk doesn't have to be about science fiction....

Notes

*Fan Fiction is stories based on or closely inspired by characters, situations, and other material from pre-existing, usually professionally produced, books, TV shows, etc.

**Crossovers combine material from two or more such "universes."

***Filks are the fan fiction of the music world: new lyrics set to old melodies, usually for comic effect.

DISCLAIMER: In creating these works of fan fiction, crossover, and filk, and likewise in posting them here, my intent is only to entertain, not to infringe upon the trademarks, copyrights, or other intellectual property rights of the original creators of the books, movies, and/or TV shows I've borrowed from.  On the contrary, I believe that good fan fiction helps to build and invigorate a fan base, which in turn makes sequels, prequels, merchandising, and conventions even more profitable for the holders of such rights.
