really are enjoying my stories and you'd like to make a contribution to help ensure that there will be
more of them to come, thank you all the more.
Now, on to the two big questions:
How
Much?
It's a tip, a voluntary contribution, not a mandatory fee. In other words, it's up
to you, your individual circumstances, and your conscience. However, a donation of one dollar for one
original story you enjoyed seems reasonable to me. (Note: Tips apply only to original stories, not fan
fiction; I'm not interested in making money off of other people's characters.)
If you donate
$5 or more, I'll be happy to let you know when I add more new stories to the site. (Or if you prefer,
I'll leave you alone and not clutter your mailbox.)
Please Note: Paypal takes out a small fixed
fee on each transaction, so anything smaller than fifty cents won't get to me at all. Please just send
me an email instead and say something nice.
How Does It Work?
I have no SSL encryption,
no shopping cart, no e-commerce solutions on this site. The money that would go to such things goes
to my writing, instead.
So here's what you can do, instead: Go to www.paypal.com, log in (or
create an account if you don't have one), and click on the "Send Money" tab at the top. Fill out the
form to direct your contribution to Steve@SGAcreative.com, and include a note in the comments section
indicating whether you'd like to hear about future stories posted to the site, or whether you'd rather
just be left in peace.
